Championing Learning, Skills, and Pathways into Work

Our Purpose:

Why we exist and who we support

Learning and Skills Collaboration (LSC) supports learning and skills development through education-led and employment-focused pathways.

As a Community Interest Company, we reinvest all surplus to improve access to opportunity and deliver positive, measurable community impact.

Our work helps young people move from disengagement towards education, training, and sustainable employment.

Learning and Skills Collaboration (LSC) acts as the umbrella organisation for Step In Jobs and TuitionBox, bringing together education and employment initiatives under a shared social mission.

We are a community-focused organisation dedicated to supporting young people aged 16–25, particularly those facing barriers to education or employment.

Through education-led support and practical employment pathways, we help young people build knowledge, confidence, and the skills needed to progress into learning, training, or work.

What We Do:

How we support learning, skills, and pathways into work

Support Learning
We promote access to learning opportunities, supporting young people to re-engage with education and personal development.

Build Skills
We focus on practical, transferable skills that improve confidence, employability, and long-term outcomes.

Create Opportunity
Through partnerships with employers and local organisations, we connect young people to education, training, and employment pathways.

Remove Barriers
We work to reduce the barriers that prevent young people from accessing learning, training, and work.

Deliver Impact Through Partnership
We work in partnership with educators, employers, and community organisations to deliver practical, accessible support that responds to local need.

How We Are Funded:

Sustaining our work through community support

Learning and Skills Collaboration (LSC) relies on a combination of donations, grants, and partner support to deliver its work for community benefit.

As a not-for-profit Community Interest Company, we do not operate for private gain. Financial support enables us to develop and sustain learning initiatives, remove barriers to participation, and expand access to education, skills development, and employment pathways.

Every contribution makes a direct difference, supporting the delivery and growth of our projects, including Step In Jobs and TuitionBox, and helping us reach more individuals and communities in meaningful and practical ways.

Funding will help Learning and Skills Collaboration deliver and sustain its work. By directing resources where they are most needed, this support will help us work with learners, employers, and communities to create practical, education-led and employment-focused pathways.
